My adventure began in 2014 when I arrived on the captivating shores of Tahiti. I started my career in marketing at the (now-closed) Le Méridien Tahiti resort, and little did I know, it would ignite a lifelong love affair with French Polynesia.
During our time in Tahiti, my husband Marc, a wizard with a camera, and I decided to take a weekend trip to Bora Bora, and boy, oh boy, did it steal our hearts.
The crystal-clear waters, those sunsets that belong on postcards, and the warm embrace of this tropical paradise. It was like stepping into a living dream, and the island left an unforgettable mark on us.
But as they say, all good things must come to an end, and after nine months in French Polynesia we had to return to our home in France, but Bora Bora never left our thoughts.
Fast forward to 2018, and we made a decision that would change our lives forever.
We packed our bags, said our goodbyes, and returned to Bora Bora. We opened our own photography studio, “Bora Bora Photos Studio,” and in 2019 we added “Bora Bora Dress” to our ventures. Go ahead, take a peek! They’re still online.
It’s been a whirlwind of adventures, capturing the enchanting moments of over 1,500 eloping couples and honeymooners. I even had the honor of officiating some of those ceremonies!
But most importantly, we’ve immersed ourselves in the vibrant culture and natural wonders of this island paradise. Our journey has been one of self-discovery, adventure, and rediscovering our love for Bora Bora each day.

Now, let’s talk about a plot twist, the kind we all know too well by now. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Bora Bora, just like the rest of the world, faced unexpected challenges. Resorts closed their doors, borders were sealed shut, and travelers found themselves stranded in a sea of uncertainty with no one to turn to for guidance.
Enter yours truly. I created the very first English-speaking Facebook group for Bora Bora, the lifeline travelers needed. “Off To Bora Bora” was born. For months, I provided essential information and support, becoming a lifeline for travelers trying to navigate through this uncertain period.
While similar groups have emerged in the wake of this endeavor, “Off To Bora Bora” proudly stands as the trailblazer.
Travel has always been a part of my DNA. I’ve explored 35 countries and counting. My love for travel started at the age of 15 when I embarked on a trip to Denmark with one of my best friends. That’s when I got hooked, and it’s been an exhilarating ride ever since. Whether it’s budget backpacking or meticulously planning dream romantic getaways, I find joy in uncovering hidden gems and snagging the best travel deals.
Naturally, my passion for travel and connecting with fellow adventurers led me to create “Off To Bora Bora”, a dedicated website serving as a genuine travel guide for Bora Bora. This comprehensive guide is designed to help individuals plan their dream vacation and ensure they can experience the very best of this breathtaking paradise.
Those steps I took to connect, inform, and guide travelers paved the way for the next logical progression: offering my services as a travel planner.
